I try other foundations from time to time, but I keep coming back to CoverGirl Aqua Smooth. The others all have problems: the liquids would be good for women who already have perfect skin and don't even need makeup; the other cake foundations don't cover well, don't last, are too dark or too yellow. I guess I need to buy a couple dozen Aqua Smooth packages, because I fear it will soon be out of production. Can you keep foundation in the freezer?
I have been unable to find Fair in stores lately, so ordered two compacts. Was delighted to have a steady supply of my favorite. I am 45 and very fair with some fine lines. I apply this foundation over a primer with a damp Beauty Blender which allows me greater control over the coverage than the little rectangular sponge that comes with it (which will do in a pinch). I always get compliments on my "flawless" skin, which is saying something as I am now in the middle of 4 rounds of chemotherapy for breast cancer! My skin has changed because of this, going from very oily to more normal/dry. My old favorite still works for me as long as I prep my skin properly, a small comfort which means a lot to me during this time.
