Simply put, this has been a great product. It heats up quick, I run it through my beard a couple of times (as well as through my hair) add some product and I’m out the door.
If I forget to turn it off, it does it automatically after a bit. Easy to travel with. A great bag to pack it up and bring it along with a few other items.
I've ordered two other beard styling combs before, one that looked like a flat iron that had a slim plastic removable comb over the heated surface and another that had heated bristles with red rubber tips at the end of each bristle. Well the first one, I had to press to my face which sometimes burned my skin and still left curls on my hair since you press it to the skin to flatten the hair. The other only worked when it was charged, only lasted one not-so-thorough use and placed back to charge. The red rubber tips broke off, sometimes sticking to my hair, and is not safe now. All that being said, I'm happy to say that I believe I've finally found a solid comb. The bristles on the Arkam are durable, well spaced, heats up in a short amount of time compared to the others, easy to use, and has a good overall design. I've only had it for a few weeks, but I believe it will last for awhile. I am very satisfied with this purchase.
