These pumps work great with the 1 liter bottles of Wella shampoo and conditioner. I'm not sure why other people were having so much trouble with them. The box that they came in had instructions printed on the side. I followed them to unthread and pop up the spout. I screwed the pumps into the bottles and even wasted some of the product trying to see if I would experience some of the problems that others were having. I'm happy to say that they worked just fine.

Directions:

1) First screw pump tightly on to the Liter product bottle securely 2) While holding the pump base with one hand turn the spigot firmly counter clockwise to UN-lock the pump 3) after the pump is UN-locked continue to pump so the product can be primed, slightly squeeze the container (if permissible) to aid in the priming process.

    Happy to have these as I was tired of squeezing my shampoo out of my litre bottles. Fit nicely on my pureology bottles and I imagine they would fit great on most litre shampoo/conditioner bottles.
