I find this product to be very handy for night time mouth dryness. When I wake up in the middle of the night, I find that my mouth can be incredibly, uncomfortably dry. Just a little of this product returns my mouth to normal rapidly and then I can go back to sleep easily. When I was in the hospital and on oxygen this really dried out my mouth which made me feel extremely uncomfortable. This product was an absolute god send in making me feel much more comfortable. This would be especially good for people on a ventilator who are not allowed to drink anything.

I have a horrendously dry mouth. If I take a bite of a biscuit, etc., and don't have a drink nearby it will get stuck in my throat, and I feel like I'm going to suffocate. I can put a tiny bit of this gel in the roof of my mouth and it works wonderfully! I've been using it for years. I used to couldn't go to sleep because my mouth was so dry. I use it when I go to bed and often wake up and use it again as it does eventually wear off but lasts a very reasonable amount of time. The Biotene spray is good too, but I prefer the gel.
