I often purchased generic store brand shave gel, figuring it was all going down the drain anyway. I like this brand better; it's a good formula. It's thicker, stays put better, and I find I need to use less of it to get results, as opposed to the generic store brands. It's a little bit moisturizing and smells nice, too.
