For 45 years I shaved the traditional razor and shaving cream way. Close shave but time consuming. A couple of years ago I decided to go with the stubble look. It was great not having to shave for two or three days. I purchased a Remington F5-5800 Foil Shaver to use in lieu of the wet shave when I had the occasion to be clean shaven. It was highly rated but trying to cut three days growth was like taking a hedgehog to lawn. It was cheap but it is junk.
It's great for a quick shave and easy to rinse the shaver heads under a water faucet. There will be some shavings trapped in the wells of the rotating shafts that turn the blades but rinsing it after every shave will help reduce the amount. It's also useful to see how much power is left in the battery thanks to the indicators under the power button.
