I do use these to freshen my breath, but that is not my primary reason for buying them. You know that irritating tickle in your throat that makes you cough and is so hard to get rid of? Well, if you take one of the cinnamon strips and put it way back in your mouth, it will knock out that tickle for quite some time. And that stops the coughing!
