I'm no tweezing expert, but I have had a few really terrible tweezers in my day. After trying these, I realize that I have been in tweezer squalor all my life. To think that I had never an countered a non-terrible instrument in the tweezer category.
These tweezers are the best I have used ever. My girlfriend picked them up and now she wants her own; so I'll order a 3 pack now. Then I will throw away any tweezer that I find that isn't one of these.
After reading some of the reviews, I think some of the critiques are valid. The grip feels good, and they do not bend as easily as other (more cheaply made?) tweezers. However they *are sharp*. Since I'm not doing the most delicate work with these, I don't think I'm qualified to speak to whether these enable someone to be more or less precise. But I'm very conscious of how sharp these things are if these things are anywhere close to my face.
If you're concerned about cutting yourself, you may want a more round-tipped tweezer. But for me, these things knock it out of the park and work exactly as advertised.
It's more difficult to find a good pair of tweezers than one would think, but this pair is wonderful; best pair of tweezers I've ever used. I have a lot of difficulty getting little hairs and all other tweezers I've used just wouldn't grab onto them. It got frustrating to spend so much time in the morning plucking stray hairs, or rather, TRYING to. This tweezer has actually sped up my morning routine and I'm quite impressed.
