And that’s why I’m the only person in my building now who still looks human rather than neanderthal, or worse yet, like a recruit during his first week at Fort Benning because his significant other gave it the old Yankee try.

I’ve been using basic Wahl clippers ($15.00) from another retailer for 15-years (new one every 4-5 years) as I like a clean shaved head. But after a couple of years, they start loosing their cutting ability slowly but surely. I’m disabled, so sometimes I have to wait 2-weeks to shave my head (especially in winter). With the older clippers, they would JAM if older than 2-years with 2-weeks of hair. At $15.00 for a brand new base model Wahl shaver kit, I just replaced EVERYTHING (not worth just replacing the blades. This time I figured to trust a better model with self sharpening blades. The first cut was over 2-weeks of hair, and it cut through like butter (and cuts closer too). The cheapest model NEVER cut this easily. I always take great care to clean my shavers of hair after cutting & add Wahl oil every couple of months or so. I believe I made the right choice here. I’ll update in a few months if need be.
