UPDATE: My stylist pointed out that this was tackier than it looked so maybe needed to be thinned out for my pixie cut and fine hair. I added a dab to wet hair and then used a blow dryer with a brush - great! Lighter and holds better than when used on dry hair. It’s a fine line between good hold and tacky/heavy though. If I get just a littler too much on my fingertip or don’t work it all the through just right... Really like it for a faux pompadour though.
ORIGINAL: I have a pixie cut with fine hair and it’s so hard to find good products like this for women, so I gave this a try. Got this version vs. their other products as seller feedback indicated this was good for fine hair. And while it does add nice texture, it’s just too heavy to maintain volume. Instead of holding my style, it drags it down and separates it where I don’t want it to. I’ve tried using different amounts too, but no real luck. I might need wax just at the roots instead? Or maybe I should just stick with styling powder.
It has a nice smell though. A little “manly” but more like clean soap vs. “clearly you’re using a product made for men.”

After I blow dry my hair, I add a small amount (about size of a nickel) into my hand and then begin to apply it. It gives my hair a nice shine but more importantly, it gives my hair the fullness and hold that I need. Overall great stuff!
